The Plymouth Jazz Festival is an annual 3-day music event produced by CL Communications; sponsored by CL Financial and the Tobago House of Assembly, and co-produced by CL Comm. affiliate - The LaRoda Group, of Los Angeles (U.S.A.).

The event began is 2005, and by its third year was recognized by Forbes Traveller magazine as one of the “World’s Coolest Music Festivals”.  Being touted as One of “Ten Music Fests that Rock the Globe”, after only three years of its initial staging was a pinnacle for CL Communications as the event producer for the show. 

CLC has secured some of the world’s most well respected artistes, including Stevie Wonder, Sting, Sir Elton John, Rod Stewart, Shakira, Diana Ross, Whitney Houston, Patti La Belle, Gladys Knight, Mary J. Blige,Smokey Robinson,  James Ingram, Peabo Bryson, Al Green, Earth, Wind & Fire, LL Cool J, P. Diddy, Babyface, Heather Headley, India Arie, and more.
The event is responsible for creating the biggest revenue influx in the history of the island of Tobago.  The highest number of visitor arrivals ever recorded at Tobago’s seaport and airport was also during the Plymouth Jazz Festival (2006 – 2008), which was the primary aim of the event.
